Twinsie Tuesday | Glitter Placement

For our glitter placement mani, I decided to use the two polishes Barielle sent me with their new ProSina formula.  Very Bare, a delicate baby pink crelly, served as the base, and Amethyst, a lilac hexagonal glitter served obviously as the glitter.

Before I get to the TT prompt, a bit about the new ProSina Signature Collection.  ProSina is a hydrolyzed keratin that has been infused in select shades of existed Barielle colors, so while you polish your nails this polypeptide works with the keratin of your nail to improve durability and elasticity beneath the nail service, ultimately bringing hydration to repair cuticles and nails.  The ProSina formula is also 5 Free and is safe for pregnant women.  Personally, I noticed that whatever special additives enhanced the polish, they gave the colors no odor, no poor formulation, or anything that would have me warn against using this.  In fact, with all the added benefits, I'd suggest ProSina be included to all Barielle polish from now on!

But to the mani.  I wait until Very Bare was dry to the touch before I try to "place" my glitter.  Despite my best efforts, Amethyst did not want to be placed anywhere.  While not a gloopy glitter, and while I was able to get one piece of glitter out at a time, once it fell on the nail, it was stuck and unmoveable.  Any inkling or dream that I was going to do a pattern or design went out the window fairly quickly.  No surprises there.

The ProSina polishes are available now at Barielle.com for $9 a bottle and ProSina treatments go for $15.  Definitely worth a try for those of you that like color on her nails but are concerned about breakage.
