Twinsie Tuesday | Bird Inspired

Good morning!

While a bit Tippi Hedren-esque, today's TT prompt is all about birds.  I cheated my way through this challenge: not only because I didn't want to do nail art (I didn't) and because I really wanted to show off a new brand (I did) but because I've been kinda obsessed with finding the perfect pink lately.  If you've followed my blog for awhile now, you'll know this is a yearly occurrence in Amandaland and I've wracked up quite a number of pinks because of this once yearly pink obsession.

But to today's mani.  Wrenn Passionfruit Pink is a warm, mauve-based pink creme that is heavily ribboned with the finest of golden shimmer.  The application on this polish beyond buttery and flawless and I can honestly say that for a brand that primarily sells jewelry (I have one of their druzy bracelets and I'm obsessed!), their polish is just as fantastically made.

This was only 2 coats and let me tell you, the golden shimmer absolutely glowed in real life.

(Oh, and in case you didn't pick up on it, the connection to birds is the adorable little wren on the bottle.)

I highly recommend you follow Wrenn on social media or get on their email list.  They are always have sales for their polish or jewelry (at least once a week!) and it's definitely worth taking advantage to try a new brand or getting a piece of artisan jewelry.  For reference, this is the bracelet I have and wear nearly every day for a really cute and whimsical addition to my bracelet stack for spring!
