KBShimmer Fall 2015 Collection

Fall being my favorite season for both weather, fashion, and polish, it goes without saying I literally squeal with delight when I get the KBShimmer emails announcing the Fall 2015 shades.  This year literally knocked my socks off.  The 6 shades I have to review today are magnificent and once again prove why I love and adore KBShimmer and why you should too!

Breaking Blues
Cornflower blue is an amazing shade for spring but somehow Christy managed to autumnize it in Breaking Blues.  A rich, dusty somewhat cobalt but not quite, Breaking Blues is everything you want in a grown up pastel.  The formula is insanely perfect and basically applies itself.  Two coats of pure butter.

Such a Vlad-Ass
Red polish is my jam and I love this autumnal take on it.  Deep and bloody, but not at all burgundy, this punnishly named polish will be used much this fall without a doubt.  Another formula to die for.  Two coats that applied itself.

Soul Deep
A deep navy-toned teal, Soul Deep is about the only way I can wear teal.  The green undertones typically work against my skin tone but this deep, murky navy creme has such a vampy look, it makes me look paler -- something I actually like in the cooler months (weird, I know, but better than the yellowy undertones a normal teal brings out).  Also a great formula, but not as perfect as the former two.

Dark & Twisty
What KBShimmer does just as well as their unbelievable cremes is their shimmer cremes.  I'm a glitter girl, but these holo/glitter/shimmer combos blow my mind.  Dark & Twisty does just that.  A black crelly, D&T is flushed with orange, green, and blue glitter pieces and specked with some holo shimmer for sparkle.  The perfect, understated Halloween polish!  I layered one coat over Soul Deep to really bring out the glitter.

Carpe Denim
Two to three coats of this navy jelly gives your nails an amazing galaxy of shimmery holo sparkle.  I mean, come on, look at this: is this not a fabulous little nail polish to rock your world and nails?  Love, love, love!

Fig-Get About It
Saved the best for last.  A plum linear holo, Fig-Get About It is just the bomb diggity (I promise to never use, or butcher, that phrase ever again).  The formula: divine.  The color: ethereal.  Can a person ask for anything more in a purple holo for fall?  Go buy this now!  Or September 15.  See below!

The Fall 2015 collection will be available September 15 at so mark your calendars, ladies!
