Summer Shades, Week 4: Cool Aquas | China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle

Probably the most "summer" of the Summer Shades Cool Aquas is China Glaze Too Yacht to Handle, a neon aqua creme from the Sunsational Collection.  I hemmed and hawed about wanting this.  Did I really need another bright aqua creme?  I thought I had so many.  But after seeing swatch after swatch of this pretty cool toned neon, I fell prey to it and picked it up this year.

I have to say, whie I do love the color and it made it to the list of my Summer Shades, the formula is kinda disappointing.  I started with a super super thin coat to just set a base and knew I'd be using more coats to level it out but instead this just went into major cuticle pooling and I had so much aqua polish everywhere.  I actually tried swatching this on two separate occasions and the same thing happened both times so I just called it a day and figured it's the nature of this polish.  The color is divine though so I'm still on the fence whether or not I'll end up keeping it or sending it to another home.

In the meantime, let's just bask in it's lovely aqua glory.

Did anyone else have the same formula issues I had with this or did I just get a dud bottle?  I'm so curious to know.
