Summer Shades, Week 1: Peachy Pinks | Essie Groove is in the Heart

I don't know when I became so ambitious, but about a week ago, I started going through my untrieds and realized that I had a lot of similarly toned polishes that I picked up specifically for this summer.  I started organizing them by shade and realized that I had about 7 different colors sets that drew me in this summer:

Peachy Pinks
Pistachio Mints
Crisp Whites
Pinky Orchids
Cool Aquas
Strawberry Melons
Sky Blue

So, in spite of potentially failing and never actually following through with swatching them all, I dare begin my Summer Shades, Week 1: Peachy Pinks.

I'm starting with Essie Groove is in the Heart from the Summer 2015 neon collection.  While a bit chalky, Groove is in the Heart is really not so bad to apply once you realize that less is more otherwise you get some cuticle pooling.  The color is divine, a neon pastel peachy pink creme that is both demure and striking.  I actually wore this at my birthday tea party this weekend and loved every minute of it.

You really only need 2 coats but I did 3 here to cover some bald spots.

Isn't she a beaute?

More peachy pinks to come this week!
