KBShimmer Summer 2015 | The Chromes

After showning you the fantastic bleached neons from the KBShimmer Summer 2015 Collection last week, I have the next grouping of polishes from this collection: the chromes.  While these can be layered from a smoother cuticle lined look, I chose to swatch these alone so you can see how opaque they finish to after three coats.

Moody Hues
It's such a shame that the strong blue to purple duochrome shift in this flake like chrome didn't transfer to this photo, but trust me, it's intense (however, my iPhone was better able to grab the color shifts so head over to my Instagram to check it out it in its full glory).  Easy application and opaque in 3 coats.

If you missed out on Cirque Mirror, Mirror, you should definitely check R-E-F-L-E-C-T out!  Flake like silver shard pieces make a really cool chrome finish.  In the winter, I'll definitely be layering one coat of this over black to create a broken mirror effect.

Look on the Night Side
This duochrome flaked chrome's shift shows up somewhat in the photo, but again, this is so much more alive in real life!  The royal blue to emerald to indigo shifts are just mesmerizing.  Not as easy to apply as the two above, I think this is best layered over a dark creme.
