Guest Post from Róisín at Cuti-CLUE-les

One of my Twinsies also came to my rescue with a fantastic guest post while I'm away. Róisín has once again wowed me with her lovely dotticures and I know you'll love it too!  Take a look!

Hey all,

After wearing dark polishes for so long I thought it was time to brighten it up just a little with a nice Summery manicure.

I started off with 2 coats of OPI I Just Can't Cope-acabana.  Then I topped that off with a coat of Smitten Polish Pink Lemonade. This is a pale lemon polish with pink hex glitters.  It's pretty sheer so the base really covered the streakiness of the OPI more than anything else.

Once that was dry I popped on some random polka dots of all different sizes. First up was Catrice Raspberry fields forever, the perfect raspberry creme. Then I added on Catrice Sing Hey dirty lilah, a very pale lilac. I dotted on Catrice Heavy Metalilac for that pink/purple shift (more apparent in real life than it is in the pictures) and I finished it all off with Barry m Peach Melba.

It's a pretty simple manicure to do which is always a nice bonus! I think the pink glitter brings something a little different to it.

How super cute is this?  Thanks so much to Róisín for sharing this bright mani during the month of such dark winter manis.

  1. Cute polka dot and glitter combination on the nails. It makes me happy to see it since there all such cheerful colors.

  2. This is so fun! It's a great pick me up during the winter months!
