smART nails Review and Giveaway

As a daily reader of this blog knows, I am incapable of nail art.  I have a fairly steady hand and a really nice handwriting and yet anything requiring remotely any motor skill coordination proves impossible for me.

So when smART nails reached out to me to try their nail stencils, I jumped at the opportunity.  The stencils are in fact precut stickers that are super easy to use!  Gently remove your desired image block, stick it over your dry nail securely, polish over it, remove the sticker, and voila!  The image precut is now on your nail!  Here's my first attempt mani using the paw print sticker.

LCN We're Meant to Be and Essie Beyond Cozy accent.

Here's a macro of the stencil.  Check out at how smooth yet nuanced the the print shape looks!

Unfortunately, I didn't have as much luck with the heart stencil.  I tried it twice and for some reason, the bottom heart just never left a clean outline when I removed the stencil sticker.  I had to go over it with a nail art brush to get it to look the way it does in the picture below.

Cirque The Devil Wears Cirque and China Glaze At Vase Value accent.

Regardless of the hearts' lack of cooperation, I have to say that I adore these stickers!  I think they're a fantastic alternative to those who can't do (or be bother to do) these designs themselves.  The designs come in a multitude of shapes and each design packet comes with 10 stickers -- retailing at $1.99 each!  You can purchase smART nails stencil stickers by visiting their store here.
