To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed that Zoya chose to include three PixieDusts in a full collection. I look forward to the fall and winter polishes and not being the biggest fan of Pixies (nothing against them in particular, I'm just not into textures), I felt that including these was a cop out on a full winter collection. That being said, Haven and Willa are absolute stars in this six piece set and worth taking a gander at.
I think I've found my favorite black creme. Willa is applies like butter, dries like gloss, and dark as ebony. Just perfection in two coats.
A black PixieDust, Imogen sort of reminds me of the much despised Essie Belugaria (sp?) that looked like the lungs of a lifelong smoking fairy. Imogen isn't nearly as crater-like but it's still not a favorite for me. Two coats here.
A cross between a shimmer metallic and a frost, Prim is definitely going to rock some people's socks. I'm not crazy about metallics so that combined with slightly frosty finish just didn't do it for me. The color, however, is a stunning periwinkle that saves Prim from being a bit too old fashioned. Two coats of flawless application.
A periwinkle-leaning blue PixieDust, Nori applied the sheerest of three pixies in this collection. Three coats are required for the best opacity.
Do you even have to question if this is my favorite from the collection? Of course it is! A shimmery red-toned plum, Haven is heavenly! Two or three coats here (sorry, can't remember!)
A plum-based PixieDust, Thea is has a bit of jelly feel to it rather than totally matte. For a collection of Pixies, Thea is definitely a nice addition. Two coats here.
