Lillian Eve Bitten | Fall Collection 2014

To make up for my slightly crazy Twinsie Tuesday post this morning, I have a lovely little polish from a new indie brand that's perfect for fall and winter.  Lillian Eve, formerly Poppy, has just released a cozy fall collection of staple colors and Bitten is a delicious addition to the set!

A black crelly, Bitten is rich with silver microshimmer, leaving the color a soft charcoal that, due to the finish, looks slightly matte, even with topcoat.  It's rather a nice touch so I didn't mind that it wasn't as glossy as I like my manis to be.  Application was great and covered in two to three coats.

I actually wore Bitten twice already, which is a big deal for me with a new polish.  I just want to note that removal is a bit annoying because the shimmer somehow adheres to the nail and takes a little elbow grease to get totally rid of.  Nothing too terrible though.

  1. Its a nice color but I've seen others similar to it already. Great swatch of it though.

  2. Ohh I like this and I like the rebranding of Poppy. Now all the polishes are LE. I don't know why but that makes me happy.

  3. Ooh, I really like this rich finish!
