Stars and Stripes

I've been wanting to use OPI My Voice is a Little Norse but didn't know exactly how.  While swatching the newest Cirque Metropolis Collection (swatches for October coming soon!), I thought the charcoal holographic glitter would complement the deep plum La Vie Boheme.

Using striping tape, I created diagonal lines on my ring finger.  I fully swatched the OPI over my pointer and adhered Kiko crystal star nail rhinestones onto my middle finger to round it out.   I probably should've used top coat to keep the OPI glossy but I didn't even realize how textured the glitter dried until I saw these pictures.

I'm not a huge nail artist and would most likely not wear this out but still enjoyed creating this little look.

What do you think??

Cirque La Vie Boheme will be available October 1 for $13.

  1. Beautiful job. I love that deep plum polish. It's not something I would normally go for but wow it is pretty.

  3. Beautiful. I keep picking up My Voice Is A Little Norse but putting it down. I don't know why, let's be real, I'm gonna buy it. Might as well sooner rather than later.
