Guest Post: Hey, Darling Polish!

I was recently introduced to Marisa from Hey, Darling Polish!  An absolute doll of a person, she was kind enough to send me a guest post while I was away as well.  And like with Casey's post, I failed in my duty as the host poster.  I hope posting Marisa's fantastic nail art creation helps everyone forgive me, at least just a little.

Take a look at what I think is a really cool summer to fall transitional nail art manicure.

Hello darlings!

I'm excited to be posting today for Amanda! I think writing guest posts are a lot of fun and I like being able to help people out.

A little bit about me, my name is Marisa and I run Hey, Darling Polish! I love having colorful nails and I like recreating patterns in my nail art. Which is exactly what I did for you all today!

Onto the nails!

Here's what I used:

My color choices are a bit brighter....okay, maybe a lot brighter than the original pattern but I really like this color combination together!  You can click here for the original pattern.

These nails started with 3 coats of My Vampire Is Buff, which is my go-to nail art base. I then took a small dab of each polish and diluted it on a paint palette with nail polish thinner. Using a small detail brush, I painted on the little dashes.

This design was nice because I didn't have to worry about each line being perfect. I really enjoyed these nails and I hope you do too!

Thanks for reading guys and thanks for having me Amanda!

-Marisa! (:

  3. I hear you and I'm exactly the same. But when you see the final product, it sometimes inspires the work.
