China Glaze City Flourish Collection for Spring 2014

Pastels are in for spring, but the China Glaze City Flourish Collection highlights that neon pastels and rich cremes are the way to go for Spring 2014.  Take a look!

At Vase Value
A pale aqua mint, At Vase Value is one of the stars of this show.  While I'm pretty certain this may be a dupe to Essie Mint Candy Apple, I still highly recommend this bright pastel.  Fabulous formula, covering in 2-3 coats.

Spring in My Step
I have such a weakness for peachy pinks and this bright pastel hits its mark.  Streaky on the first coat, this levels beautifully on coat two.  This is truly the essence of spring romance, if spring romance had a color that is.

Thistle Do Nicely
My apologies for Thistle Do Nicely, but my swatches are not color accurate.  This neon pink leaning towards coral completely spazzed out my camera.  It took two days for me to grab this shot and it's not even remotely as pink as it is in person.  Fabulous neon though with an excellent formula, no need for white undies whatsoever.

Metro P
ollen-tin
Yellows are everywhere lately so Metro Pollen-tin (ouch) is not out of place.  A warm, orange toned yellow, Metro applies with none of the usual streakiness.  Not sure how I feel about this egg yolk tone on me, but I definitely see an audience loving it.

Grass is Lime Greener
Enter more neons! GLG is such a fun neon pastel and a nice turn from the normal slime green neons of yore.  Again, perfect formula.

Lotus Begin
My personal favorite (any surprise?), Lotus Begin is a neon lavender.  How cool is that?  I literally drool over this delicious lilac and its equally delectable formula.  This is a must buy for any and all purple lovers!

What a Pansy
A dusty blurple creme, What a Pansy is a tad brighter in person.  Great formula but not the most unique color in the world.

  5. Ahhh I'm having a love/hate relationship with Mint Candy Apple. I LOVE the color, but the formula is awful. But... it's not like I'll be able to find China Glaze anywhere anyway lol.

  6. The formula of this is fantastic so I recommend ditching the Essie. Oh the elusive China Glaze ;)

  8. I got sucked into this collection because the colors are gorgeous, but the wear time on them is ridiculous, even for me (who changes her nails everyday). I bought 5 of, and 4 of them did that popping off/peeling thing within hours of me applying them! Did you have the chance to wear them? I'm curious how they were for you
