Rainbow Honey Kawako

Morning, ladies.

If all goes well and the weather doesn't go all cataclysmic as it has the past month, as you read this, I will be on my way to New York Fashion Week!  Obviously, details and pictures to follow, but just know that I'm furiously exercising my shutter finger to prep for all my photo-taking today!

Knowing that I would be away today and through next week (off to Dallas tomorrow!), I went through my camera to download all my old swatch photos I was too lazy to edit and post the past few months.  In my sloth, I completely forgot that I swatched Rainbow Honey Kawako, a must-have for navy lovers.

Kawako is a sapphire-leaning navy flushed with purple, silver, and gold shimmer flakies.  I say shimmer flakies because I really can't make out with they are since they are a beautiful conflagration of both.  The application was like butter and only needed two coats for smooth, even coverage.

What I love about this polish is that it's visibly navy and not an almost black like so many others.  The shimmer and glow from whatever those fantastical particles floating around the polish are is truly breathtaking.  I'm so pleased that I was able to snag this trio set (the other two polishes coming soon-ish) for a steal off some random non-polish site last year during an amazingly awesome sale.  I can't for the life of me remember what the site was called otherwise I'd share that with you, so my apologies there!

Feel free to drool in the comments below!
