Twinsie Tuesday: Seasonal Gradient

For today's TT post, a number of us Twinsies bemoaned this weekend that we were simply uninspired.  For me, I'm just not a fan of doing gradients, and for this week's seasonal gradient, I just couldn't be bothered.  Stephanie (one our newest Twinsies!) said that she was inspired by her "winter blues," so I took her inspiration and ran with it.

I started with a Sally Hansen Without a Stitch, a yellow toned nude creme, which took 3 coats to build up.  I then sponged Milani Beach Front fairly messily over that and when that dried, sponged Sinful Colors Cinderella over that.  The blue shimmer with the hint of SC pink flakies looked much nicer from afar, but you can see how up close, this is a complete mess.  And this is after cleanup.

Yeah, not a fan of what I did hear, although I stand by my color choices.  Make sure to check out my Twinsies' (I have little doubt) infinitely better gradients by clicking their links below!

  3. I wouldn't be overly fond of Cinderella (just not my kind of polish) but that Sally hansen polish looks so good on you.

  5. Thanks, Roisin! I love Cinderella though, even if it's a bit sheer for my taste.
