I have a weakness for baby blue shimmers and had an internal debate with myself about purchasing KBShimmer I'd Rather Be with Blue from their 2013 holiday collection. When I read that The Polishaholic mentioned that Icing Jean'ie in a Bottle was an almost exact dupe, I went to the mall to pick it up. Of course, my store was out of stock of this heavenly blue. I pouted until I visited an Icing store while visiting my cousin over the holidays and found not only the color I wanted, but that it was only sale for $1.50. Success if I do say so myself.
The matte blue, which applied beautifully and glows when top coated, seemed the perfect base for my new Born Pretty Store snowflake nail sticker decals. Easily applied with a tweezer, they gave a slight 3D effect to my nails. I also really liked that any protruding ends filed off smoothly.
To give an additional wintery touch, I added a coat of Savina Fairy Dust over the snowflakes.
I really like snowflake accents so I'm really loving these stickers. They were a tad bit difficult to remove with non-acetone remover, but not anymore difficult than actual glitter. Worth it, totally.
