Twinsie Thursday: Something Blue

Unfortunately, I had a little bit of a scare this week when my grandmother went into the hospital for a few days.  I spent most of my week in a bit of a haze and informed my Twinsies that I probably wouldn't have the head to post my TT for this week.  The fabulous girls that they are, they completely understood.

Thankfully, my grandmother is back home, healthy (thank God), and in good spirits -- well she was never out of good spirits, but it's nice to be able to say that she's still texting updates in our family Whatsapp chat and worrying about everyone else's health.

To celebrate and to fulfill my belated Twinsie Tuesday, I have a magical polish for you today to fit the Something Blue theme for this week.  Morgan Taylor Under the Stars screamed to me the minute I saw Cynthia post this beauty on Of Life and Lacquer.  Thanks to my lovely Twinsie Maribeth, I finally got my hands on my first Morgan Taylor polish!

A thick navy jelly, Under the Stars is swimming with chunky circular flecks of holographic glitter.  The application was pretty good given how rich the formula is and I used three coats to get complete opacity.  The polish dries gritty so as informed by other bloggers, I used two coats of topcoat to get a smooth sheen.

Let me say that this was INSANELY SPARKLY in real life and I actually took a video of its sparkly goodness which you can view by clicking here.  Seriously though, I highly HIGHLY recommend you check out that video to see the sparkle.  I mean, how often do I use this many CAPS in one post?  Clearly, I mean business.

Make sure to check out my Twinsies' Something Blue posts...and all their other posts too!

  7. I've never heard of Morgan Taylor before but this is one beautiful polish! I am a sucker for "night sky"-type polishes. And that's fabulous news about your grandmother! Good to hear she is home and doing better now. <3
