OPI I Knead Sourdough

The OPI San Francisco Collection 2013 really wowed me in encapsulating autumn tones while simultaneously updating the color palette with touches of modern freshness.  Warm toned reds and rich chocolate browns, a staple in my personal fall polish repertoire, has met its match in I Knead Sourdough.

This very slight duochrome cherry mauve is infused beautifully with fine, fine golden shimmer that creates a burnished velveteen finish.  The intangible base color (mocha? raisin? brick?) leaves the shimmer alight, providing a new take on autumn with a magically understated neutral.

This was two perfect coats.

Yes, I am simply in love with this and think OPI has nailed the microshimmer cremes it has consistently produced over the past few fall collections.  Who needs texture when you have a sunset of tones on your fingertips?
