Essie Shearling Darling

It's been awhile since I last posted but I'm trying to make up for it this week.  After losing all my photos a week ago (I know, ughh), I got back on that horse and took the morning to run my cuticles ragged.  So let's begin!

Shearling Darling, of the titular Essie Winter 2013 collection, is not the most unique polish in the world but it certainly is a sexy little thing.  A rich plum-leaning oxblood creme, Shearling Darling felt like velvet in a bottle.  The application was perfection and need two coats for opacity.  Please don't let the slightly waxy finish confuse you; the quick dry I've been using has a really dull effect on a polish's finish so I'll need to change that up soon.

I bought the entire winter collection for $27 on eBay so I'll weaving these swatches in with my others in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.  Any requests, let me know in the comments!
