Shimmer Polish Bernice

Good morning, ladies.

For today, I have another Shimmer Polish to debut.  Bernice, a dense mix of silver and black hex and micro glitter, looks very much a glitzier counterpart to this season's popular black and white matte glitter.  However, when I looked closer at the bottle, I was happily surprised to see tiny flecks of blue floating about the bottle.  I decided to layer one thinner coat of Bernice over Essie In the Cab-ana, a bright aqua blue I thought would really complement the silver and make the blue pop.

Let me know if you think I was right...

If I do say so myself, I think the two pair beautifully together!  I love the mix of blue, black, and white and Shimmer Polish has bottled that trio really nicely in Bernice.  Please note, though, that the little tinge of yellow/green in the macro shot is just the reflection of the silver glitter when the light hits it; on the nail, it doesn't look yellow at all, but since it's reflective glitter, it picked up the light shining over my lightbox while I was taking the picture.

If you're interested in purchasing Bernice or any other Shimmer Polish, visit the brand's Etsy shop where you can pick one up for $12 USD a bottle.
