I'm really loving all the fall collections this year and LVX's latest is no exception. Take a look at their lush, rich cremes that will have you celebrating autumn in style.
A blackened burgundy, Dahlia is another beautiful take on the deep Bordeaux shade being referenced from last fall's oxblood fad. While not the most unique of shades, I loved how this vampy shade looked on my skin tone. The only crelly of the collection, this required three coats for streak-free opacity.
An antique rosé, Cliquot is what I'd consider a very warm-toned nude creme. In fact, this reminds me of true ballet slippers, without the girly pastel leaning pink. For some reason this didn't look super glossy on me but I honestly didn't think the color worked on me either, so it could've just been a general 'no' polish. This was two coats.
Everyone should've guessed that this cool dove grey creme is my favorite! I adored wearing Cashmere, that borders on white enough to give the shade a crisp, fall feel without referencing pre-Labor Day summer whites. Consider this my OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls for autumn/winter 2013! Two perfect coats here.
LVX calls this taupe, but on me this dusty shade pulled way more purple than brown. Regardless, Relique is an absolute gem in this collection, a 'not quite' shade that traverses the warmer tones of the fall without hitting the reddy bronzes. This was also two coats.
While I'm not a huge fan of teals, I can say without hesitation that Viridis surprised me. A creme, this emerald-leaning teal looked like a glossy gel once on. So lush and luxurious and no staining! Woo! This was also two coats.
A deep, semi-blackened navy, Azzurrum is what all cremes should be: buttery, glossy, and chic. I really love that little bit of dustiness to Azzurrum that gives this navy a bit of a soft boost. Another favorite from this collection and another two-coater.
As a whole, I love the tone and cohesion of this collection. It's not super unique, but Cashmere, Relique, and Azzurrum are three I would definitely recommend for your perfect fall palette. And as formulas go, these were pristine. I can now count myself as an LVX enthusiast.
