Twinsie Tuesday: Ice Cream Mani

Tuesday, ladies.

So after weeks of botched nail art, I just went with the literal for this week's theme of ice cream mani.  Using a few new finds from Funky Fingers, I created an ice cream and cone inspired skittle.

From pinkie to pointer:
Berried Treasure, Fool's Gold, Fro Yo, and Mint Choco Chip
3 coats each

The pink, lavender, and mint polishes are all crellies flushed with white and black hex glitter, giving a cookies n cream appearance.  However, the black glitters were fairly hard to fish out and even with 3 coats, only Fro Yo managed to look the way it did in the bottle.

Fool's Gold is a pretty cool glitter, with a holographic quality that really photographed well.  I should have, however, layered it over a nude since the tri-gold microglitters float in a clear base that doesn't cover very well.  Still, a pretty gold glitter for layering.

So there you have it, my ice cream "cone."  Thoughts??
