Sally Hansen Insta-Dri for Fall 2013

As a huge fan of Sally Hansen, I'm really excited to showcase three new stunners from the Fall 2013 Limited Editiom Insta-Dri line.  Take a look.

Red-io Active
Talk about glow.  Red-io Active is a shimmery metallic red that literally burns up in any light.  The orange undertones are absolutely magical and make this a fantastic transitional polish for those reluctantly inching into autumn.  This was two easy coats.

Chop Chop Copper
While certainly on the sheer side, I chose to swatch Chop Chop Copper on its own todemonstrate how complex this metallic shimmer is.  Not exactly copper to my eye, this jellyish potential layerer is more of a deep-toned gold, made all the more fantastic by the baby pink sparkles of shimmer swimming throughout.  This particular swatch was four coats, but as you can see was completely worth it.

Quick Jean-ius
No surprises here that I adore this navy jewel tone semi-metallic.  Apart from the heavenly tone of Quick Jean-ius' blue, the breathtaking ribbons of silver shimmer complete this perfect fall polish.  Not the best application though; I may have gotten a wonky brush, but I found it difficult to get the lines by my cuticle straight.  This was two coats.

As a sampling of a fall collection, I'm mightily impressed.  The shades are rich and en trend and will flatter almost any skin tone.  Even better, they're available wherever Sally Hansen products are sold.  Hurry though, they're limited editions!

  1. I do love SH Insta-Dry, for some reason its the one range we don't get in the UK. Shame as these are stunning!

  2. That's such a shame. How were you able to get a hold the ones you have?

  3. I bought some last time I was in the US & I have a couple of polish buddies who keep me in new lines. :-)

  4. I like these colors; they are really perfect for fall. I think I will be picking up the gold and orange shades to add to my collection :)

  5. Oh, chop chop chopper is lovely and I'm not usually drawn to gold! We can have a hard time finding some SH ranges in Ireland too but the old collections always seem to (weirdly) end up in discount shops at some point, there must be a U.S discounter that works in conjunction with one of the UK/Ireland ones. Found a few shades from the complete salon manicure Prabal Gurung collection last year for 1.49 each!

  8. Seriously?! I'm so jealous. I love the CSM line but they are definitely on the pricier side here in the US. Even with the conversation, that would make them between $2-$3 USD -- what a steal!
