White Wedding Made in Heaven: Revlon Heavenly over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls

I absolutely adore white polish.  I think it flatters any skin tone, is universally chic, and can make a look pop without burning anyone's retinas.

As with most girls this past year, my new favorite white is undoubtably OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, which applies like an absolute dream.  I thought the cool toned freshness would serve as a nice base for Revlon Heavenly (a dupe to Deborah Lippmann Stairway to Heaven),  a confection of iridescent mylar square and speckled glitter.

One coat (I think?) of the Revlon created this soft, angelic look that I actually really enjoyed wearing.

I really like the opalescent blend over the white creme.  I'm not super thrilled, however, with what looks like tiny little black dots on my nails, which are just microglitter pieces that are too small to catch the light and just look like dead gnats on my fingertips.

Sorry about the bad cuticles though...I guess I didn't realize how bad they were when I uploaded the pics. Oops.
