Super Black Lacquers Wishful Thinking over Barry M. Prickly Pear

Not sure what's gotten into me, but I've felt the need to layer top coat everything.  Flakies, glitter, holo sparkle, you name it.  As a known polish purist, that's quite unlike me.  However, when I was given the opportunity to review Super Black Lacquers Wishful Thinking, I was super stoked.  A fine, scattered holographic top coat in a grey-leaning jelly, I couldn't decide what to use it over first.

Finally, I settled on Barry M. Prickly Pear, one of their glossy gelly polishes in classic lavender. One coat of Wishful Thinking over the Barry M. gave the pastel a slight dusty feel, muting the brightness of Prickly Pear ever so delicately.  No great holographic transformation, but still a pretty effect.

With flash, the classic rainbow glow is more evident but again, not intensely so. While perhaps not the ideal holo topper, Wishful Thinking is a fantastic dose of something special to a soft and/or pastel mani.
