Happy June 20!

It's my birthday today so I'm taking the day off from swatching.  However, I still need inspiration for my nails for my party on Sunday.  Please help me out by leaving suggestions in the comments!

Preemptive thanks and happy June 20!

  1. Happy Birthday! You could do a skillette mani like Chit Chat Nails does. On one nail use a bar and hex or indie type glitter to represent confetti, one nail could have dots or little lines like candy sprinkles, and paint them all in sweet cupcake colors. You could do a cupcake mani for whimsy and just a fun look, but a more sophisticated look is the skittlette. Or you could just do a "funfetti" look like the frosting that is white with the colored candy bits? You could do that with any colors you wanted as the candy bits. Or what about a polka dot mani with gradient dots? Or a gradient base and solid dots? Or you could do the dots in a pattern in one color like your age or initials and then the rest of the dots in other colors like one of those color blind test charts. If you are good with freehand nail art you could do a zodiac sign themed nail with either the Greek symbol (letter) or the sign itself. Like a crab for Cancer.

  3. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! as Cin said, i think a skittle mani would be a great idea. To make it simple maybe some diagonal stripes and assorted sized dots alternating on every other finger matching the colors with your outfit. On your accent nail you could do a reeeaaally sparkly jelly sandwich or a glitter base and on top of it the number of your age. I also like Cin's idea of a cupcake. Enjoy your day!!

  4. Happy Birthday Amanda, it's mine tomorrow! (I swear it really is, I'm not just saying that) - I say wear your most favourite polish, the one you want to save like your life depends on it!
