It's really sad when long weekends end, especially when you feel like you -- or in this case, I -- didn't adequately take advantage of it. Given the fact that I went to a Connecticut spa and inn on a family-girls' vaca, went insane furniture shopping, and picked out all the paint we'll be using this upcoming weekend, I really shouldn't complain; however, given that it's 9:48pm Monday night as I write this, I'm just exhausted. All I want is another day to catch up with everyone else's 3-day weekend. Ugh.
Anyways, to the Twinsie Tuesday post! For my spring to summer transitional polish, I knew that I had to choose one of my favorite go-to colors for this season: peach! I personally find that given the shade, peach is the ultimate transitional color since depending on its tone, finish, and base, can really shift shades dramatically. For today's polish, I chose China Glaze Mimosa's Before Mani's (don't even get me started on those ridiculously placed apostrophes), of China Glaze's Avant Garden Spring 2013 Collection.
MBM (because I refuse to write the whole title again due to my strict grammatical principles) is a warm-toned, orange-based peach creme with hidden golden shimmer. Application was phenomenal and covered beautifully in two coats.
When the sun/flash hits MBM, there's a creamsicle-like quality that erupts that just screams almost summer. Love, love, love this China Glaze.

ReplyDeleteThat is such a gorgeous colour. I usually like China Glaze and their polish names but that one is ridiculous :/
ReplyDeleteHow did that pass quality control??
ReplyDeleteBEYOND ridiculous. It physically pains me, it's that bad.
