Sally Hansen Without a Stitch

Morning, ladies!

My apologies for not posting the past two days.  In fact, I had anticipated posting this swatch the day after my nude and neon ruffian so you could get a better look of what exactly the base layer nude looked like alone.  Unfortunately or fortunately, I've been ridiculously busy at work and when I got home, I either completely zonked out or went to the gym and then zonked out.  Needless to say, there wasn't a lot of blogging time in between my comatose bouts.

Anyways, Sally Hansen Without a Stitch is what I'd consider a perfect nude.  Not super flesh-toned, I like that the pale yellow buttercream nude stands against the pink tone of my skin.  The application was fantastic and it applied beautifully in three coats.

For those of you -- like me -- who live for the Complete Salon Manicure designer collaboration collections, this beauty debuted as part of the Prabal Gurung Spring 2011 Collection.  One of my favorite new designers, I can't help but adore his color palette with polish as well.

What are you favorite shades of nudes?

  1. This is such a super flattering colour, and it looks beautiful on you! I have a hard time finding nude-ish polishes that don't lean all peach or pink against my skin, but this buttercream beige is nice and soft, a little bit of colour but still pleasantly nude.
