Avon Turquoise Pop

Monday, all.

On to my second Avon polish for this week!  Turquoise Pop is a fun spring-to-summer transitional shade of mint/clover green that borders on pastel but doesn't quite make the cut.  I suppose the brightness of the green led Avon to name this turquoise, but personally, there's not enough blue in this creme to claim that title.  Nevertheless, Turquoise Pop is vibrant and happy and is what I think of a fun mani color to wear to the beach.

Since this is part of the Speed Dry line of Avon, the polish dried super quickly -- a happy difference from Illusion's much, much, much slower dry time.  The application was fantastic and was opaque in 2 coats.

If I had to stagger a guess, I think Turquoise Pop may be a dupe of Zoya Wednesday and Sinful Colors Athens.  Since I own both, I hope to get around to doing a comparison post.  Please let me know if you think there are more dupes to this pretty bright green!

  8. As for me the application was terrible, i must have done it wrong =( on 3 fingers had to take it off and repeat because i failed at the facture, and then had to erase polisher off my skin with a pipe. But ive met worse ones. Other nailpolish from the speed dry, nearly black colour, was much easier in applicating, maybe second time will be better. The colour is pretty much what i've been looking for and it holds nice, after 2 days i will only need to fix a little spall on 1 finger

  9. Such a shame about the poor application! You might have gotten a bad bottle than may be in need of some polish thinner. But if the wear time lasts, then it's not all bad!
