Hello, ladies.
Get excited for two swatches from the new Royal Fairy Tale from Pomegranate Nail Lacquer. While the bottle shape is new (and sadly not as aesthetically pleasing to my eye as the old square ones), the formula is still as stellar as before.
Take a look.
Fairy Berry
Hello, gorgeous! A plummy fuchsia, Fairy Berry is flushed with rich silver shimmer that gives this creme a soft glow about it. For some reason, this polish reminded me of a matted polish with a topcoat but it in no way dries flat. An absolute gem in the collection, this was two easy coats.

Broken Curse
I decided to layer Broken Curse over Fairy Berry and what a combination they make! Broken Curse's blue and purple glitter sits beautifully atop the shiny berry metallic. While the purple glitter disappears a bit, the blue pops off the enamel, giving them mani a real depth. Think of this of what China Glaze Flying Dragon should've looked like. This is two coats of the glitter topper.

ReplyDeleteNot too terribly afraid, but still not yet a convert ;)
ReplyDeleteFairy Berry is so luminous and textured, and it looks really great paired with Broken Curse!
ReplyDelete(I get way too happy to see you in glitter. ;) )
Personally I much prefer the original, square bottles with the pomegranate logo, but the more ornate logo is so pretty that it could easily grow on me. Must remember to order some of these before I hit the States!
Perfect combination!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Traci!
