Happy Valentine's Day!
While I'm not really into flowers and mush, I can get behind a reason to wear some pink. So I thought today would be the perfect day to try out a new JENsations polish called Love is in the Air.
A clear shimmery jelly base, Love is in the Air is basically a mix of white, baby pink, and medium pink heart glitter pieces. I decided to layer this over CoverGirl Pink-finity, a rich baby pink pastel creme that if applied carefully, applies opaquely in two coats.
Here is my final product.
While I think the two polishes go spectacularly together, the JENsations glitter was difficult to work with. In order to get the hearts on my nail, I had to literally fish through the bottle, which only made more shimmery jelly glob on the brush and dribble down to the nail. In short, in order to apply any hearts on your nail, you need to be willing to deal with excess polish getting everywhere. I'm not sure you can make it out in the picture, but because of that excess, my manicure ended up bumpy and a bit unfinished. Not my favorite look but fitting for V-Day nonetheless.
JENsations polishes are available on Etsy and retail for $8 a bottle. Please click here to be directed to the shop.
