Elevation Polish Toubkal

Happy weekend, ladies.  I am so happy that the week is finally over.

To celebrate, I have a complete impulse buy that I blame entirely on Tara.  The girl knows what I likes and knows she knows.  So after she tagged me in her post of Toubkal, I broke down and bought it.  I am nothing if not a sucker for personalized marketing.  American through and through.

Anyways, for my first Elevation Polish, I am mightily impressed.  While I'm not in love with the ridged bottle top, this polish applied beautifully.  Often times flakie crellies have major settling issues on the nail, but I was really pleased that the gold flakie shimmer did show up once dried.  The bloody, cranberry base is so juicy and vampy, I could wear this polish all winter.

This is three coats.

Sorry for the tip wear.  I sometimes have issues with my top coat doing this so please note that this mani was photographed the morning after I applied it so any wear is probably the cause of bad quick dry chemistry.

So what do you ladies think: is this a run of the mill red or an indie worth the binge?

  1. Aw, yay! You finally got it! This really is a gorgeous polish. I love the bit of berry in this deep, gorgeous red, and the flakie shimmer is just beautiful. Great call, Tara!
