Twinsie Thursday: A Twinsie Tuesday One Year Anniversary Special

While today is in fact Thursday, on this day, January 31, Twinsie Tuesday was first launched!  Can you believe it's been a year and we're still at it?  

For this special one year anniversary post, we are all commemorating by reswatching our first post challenge polish.  For those that began a year ago, we posted an international polish.  I chose Catrice Dirty Berry, a dark lilac creme skittled with silver shimmer that doubles as scattered holo.  I personally prefer scattered holos to linear ones, adore shimmer-cremes, and, as you all know by now, am obsessed with purple so there's no surprise that I heart this polish so, so much.

Formula: perfection.  Seriously Catricians, bring your brand over to us poor, deprived Americans!

But looking back, I was intrigued to see how my blogging has changed over the past year.  My computer is not cooperating with me today so I had to take a screenshot from my phone and email the image to myself to upload to Blogger for this now/then portion of the post (yes, readers, I sacrifice my time, energy, and phone battery to get these swatches to you ;)

Well for one, the days of taking photos from my phone are long gone.  I've become kinda crazy about getting my hand position right; if you've noticed, I've tried multiple iterations over the past few weeks but I think I've settled on my current one.

Secondly, I've cut down on how many pictures I post.  Less is more in my opinion.  My rule of thumb is to only include more if the next picture adds to polish.

Thirdly, my writing style doesn't appear to have changed.  I'm still the over-dramatic, highly sarcastic, glitterphobe I was a year ago.  Although, I think I've made some minor strides in the glitter department. 

Lastly, I have to mention the wildly fantastic and amazingly creative group of girls that I'm proud to call my Twinsies.  Each week, I look forward to Tuesdays to see what you each do and I love how close we've all become.  You ladies are the reason why TT has lasted this long and I dedicate this post to all of you ♥
