When the LCN Blossom Sorbet Collection for Spring showed up at my doorstep, I had a few seconds of wonder as I cut open the box. What would this spring collection bring? I adore pastels but they've been done over and over again. Could LCN deliver?
While none of the colors below is particularly unique, they are spectacular nonetheless. The formulas on each was flawless -- standard for LCN polishes. The creamy colors are formulated just so: soft, non-streaky, and girly.
Take a look.
A rosy pink-coral
Smooth and buttery, this applied perfectly in two coats. Love the soft coral color and how well it works with my skin tone! This is the perfect summer office color for me.
A flirty lavender
Again, two amazing coats. I love how this lilac has just the right amount of grey in it, leaving it just so delicate looking. There was some shimmer in the bottle but that did not show up on the nail.
I Love Mint
An invigorating pop of blue-green
Not sure about the blue, but this is definitely green. Stunningly opaque in two coats, this mint is what I can only imagine would be universally flattering. Just enough white in the base to avoid any lobster hands. The epitome of spring in a bottle.
A delicate, happy yellow
The only three coater, I am amazed at the formula on this butter cream. No streaks while applying, this has won the spot in my top two favorite yellows. Soft yet bright, this is a great color for someone as yellow-phobic as me.
Major win here. The colors and formulas together have completely gotten me in the Spring mood. Love, love, love this entire set.
The LCN Blossom Sorbet Collection will be available March 15 and retail for $7.50 USD each.
