Barielle Falling Star

Ever wondered what the worst possible formula in the history of nail polish was?

Well, ladies, I have found it.

And it's Barielle Falling Star.  

Like Amanda Seyfried's character in Mean Girls, this one's pretty on the outside but can barely figure out it's behind from it's elbow, or in this case, if it's a liquid or a solid.  Gloopy, liquidy, and unevenly applying, this was an absolute pain to polish with.  While two coats did the trick, the aggravating application process diluted my excitement at the results. 

So my whining and swatches aside, the polish in theory is nice.  A rich cornflower blue,  Falling Star gets its name from the multitude of copper glitter interspersed in the creme.  While a nice subtle touch, the copper is too fine to really make an impact on this polish as it did in Butter London Two Fingered Salute.  Pretty, but I'm not sure if it's worth the effort.

Removal was so-so since the copper glitter gave me some issues, but nothing a tad more elbow grease couldn't solve.  If only application was that easy...

Sigh.
