Influenster Cosmo VoxBox 2012

Last week I was sent an Influenster Cosmo VoxBox to try and review.  As I'm sure many of you have seen on multiple blogs, Influenster has been sending a number of these special boxes out to bloggers.  If you are unfamiliar with Influenster, it's a site dedicated to creating links between brands and the online community, or in their own words, "a place for culture junkies to come together and share their unique opinions of products and experiences."

My Cosmo VoxBox was filled with a plethora of unique, albeit random, items that I have hear to show you:

FriXion by Pilot Pen
($4.50 for 3-pack; $11 for 8-pack)
I'm a bit of pen nut and am particularly picky about the pens I use.  I don't like anything too thick or too inky or too flimsy.  With the FriXion erasable pen, I found none of these faults.  My only issue is that the nub is a bit scratchy and unless you press down rather hard, you will get some ink skips, as you can see from the top of my heart.  I personally think the erasable side is a bit useless (dry white out anyone?), but for those that like that, it certainly works.
Verdict: 3 out 5

Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk Sea Salt Escape
($2.79)
Yum.  Major yum.  In fact, I ate this entire chocolate bar myself in two days -- which for someone severely lactose intolerant as myself, means it was pretty good to risk it.  Salt is meant to bring out the sweetness in chocolate and previously, I've had bad experiences with salted chocolate.  This however was perfection!  Just delectable chocolate for the PMS'ing girl in all of us.
Verdict: 5 out of 5

Bath & Body Works Forever Red Eau de Parfum
($44.50 for full size)
I have a super sensitive sense of smell (say that three times fast).  If I don't like a smell, no matter how mild, I actually get severely nauseaous.  So to tell you that this eau de parfum (much more potent than eau de toilette sprays) is delicious, is high praise.  A really sumptuous blend of pomegranate, red osmanthus, and vanilla rum, there's a deep sweetness that is heavier than normal vanilla scents and perfect for a night out in a darkly lit place.
Verdict: 4.5 out of 5

Venus Embrace with Venus & Olay Blade
($3.50-$4.50 per month per blade refill)
My go to razor for the past decade!  The Venus razors have year in and year out proven themselves to leave smooth skin, hairless legs, and unnicked ankles.  I'm an indelicate shaver so to say that I've only experienced mild cuts from using this razor means there's something good going on here.  I'd recommend this little guy to all my hirsute buddies.
Verdict: 4 out of 5
