Guest Post: Nory from Fierce Makeup and Nails

Since I've been working on the Hurricane Sandy relief effort here in New York, I've been a bit behind in my blogging.  The beautiful Nory offered to pinch-hit for me while I stumble through my days (often with chipped nails, for shame!).  When she sent me this guest post, I held off seeing what she created until I added the html code to my Blogger last minute.  And whoa...I'm in love with what she has in store for you ladies!

Hello Amandalandish readers!

I am Nory from Fierce Makeup and Nails, and it's been quite some time since I have done a guest post. Since my polish bestie Amanda has been a little bit extra busy lately, I offered to help the only way I know how, a guest post! LOL.

One thing that many of you may or may not know is that Amanda is allergic to  many different things, one of them being gold. She can't wear any of the new gold top coats that are all the rage at the moment, so I thought I would share one of the ones I have with all you Amandalandish readers.

I first started with two coats of OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! and then added one coat of Sephora by OPI It's Real 18k Gold top coat.

Very fine bits of real gold add just a little bit of luxury to any special mani. I love the gold and dark grey contrast.

To get an even application, I did have to dab a little bit of the gold onto the nail but it wasn't too hard to achieve the desired look. One coat of SV to even it all out.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this mani.
If you have any questions or would like to check out my blog feel free to hop on over to www.fiercemakeupandnails.com

Amanda thank you for the opportunity to share my mani with all of your readers!

xoxo
Nory

No, thank you!  This is seriously the closest I can get to this stunner without breaking into head to toe hives and needing to be hospitalized.  I know, baaaad.  However, I am thankfully not allergic to platinum...a fact the boy is very well aware of ;)

Anyways, this combination is killer and I'm flattered Nory decided to showcase this on my blog.  Gorgeous, right?
