Shimmer Polish Jenny

Happy Saturday, girlies.

I'm nearing the end of my Shimmer Polish swatches and to be honest, I'm getting sad.  It's been so much fun to play with these glitterbombs, layering them over some of my favorite cremes.  Cindy really won me over with her collection and I look forward to seeing what else she has in store for us in future collections.

But to the swatch!  Today I have Jenny layered over China Glaze Kinetic Candy.  A highly reflective glitter, what I love about Jenny is that it's comprised of various shades of blue speckled with yellow and purple.  Even though it's not monochrome, there's something really sleek about the colors in Jenny that just pop over a pastel blue like Kinetic Candy.

The issue that I've had with many of the Shimmers with this reflective finish is that they are super hard to photograph because they bounce off anything with light, which while awesome in real life, it's a bummer when you're a polish blogger.  I only say this because if you've liked my swatches of Shimmer Polishes that are more metallic, I assure you that you'll love them more in person without being distilled and refracted by a camera.

If you are interested in purchasing this or any other Shimmer Polish, please visit Cindy's Etsy shop by clicking here.  Each bottle retails for $12 USD.

  3. Gorgeous glitter! Are these top coat hungry? I love the Shimmer polishes, but since they are a glitter bombs they look very dense.

  11. Absolutely gorgeous!!! I know what you mean about super reflective glitters, they're so hard to capture on camera. You've done a great job though because you've got me wanting this polish for sure!

  13. They are dense, although not all are (Karina is more of a glitter infused jelly). The heavier glitters are fairly topcoat heavy, especially if you prefer a smooth finish.
