Singapore doesn't have the 4 seasons, so we are pretty much only sun and rain all year round. I've never experienced Spring before, but my vision of Spring is - blooming flowers everywhere. And it's the season where people are most inspired try out stuff they've never done before because Spring marks a new beginning. So I decided to have mixed prints on my nails. A mixture of flakies(thumb) with polka dots, stripes, glitter(index finger) and most importantly, roses. That is what Spring is to me, a mixture of everything beautiful.
I am still learning so this is not perfect but I do love painting my nails. I started with white to show the new beginnings and lightness of spring. Flowers to also symbolize new beginnings and it didnt hurt that they were my favorite color (purple) and then added a dash of glitter to give them a bit of magic.

When I think of spring, I think of butterflies fluttering around in the field of green grass. So I used a stamp I bought a few months ago that has 2 halves of a butterfly and when put together make one. The green is for grass and a very spring color.

Spring is my favorite season. For me it is all about flowers, sunshine, clear skies and rainbows. When spring gets here every year, I start looking out for new plants coming up, and then for all the flowers to bloom.I love the colors. Each flower is a work of art in itself.
I was inspired by Cinco de Mayo. I wanted to do something like Mexican Fiesta buntings (those lacy colorful flags), but that was a bit too ambitious for this first time dotter. So i kept the bright color palette i intended on and simplified my design to a simple double row point. I think i did pretty well for my first time.

I love Impressionist art, especially Monet. One of my favourite paintings of his is "Artist's Garden at Giverny" - it really embodies the feel of spring to me. Since I suck at nail art, I figured I could maybe do something with an impressionist feel, because it does not exactly need you to color in the lines ;-) This is not a literal interpretation, but just more inspired by. I used Orly Decades of Dysfunction from the Dark Shadows collection as the base, and China Glaze Glitter Crackle collection for the "leaves" and "flowers" in Glam-more and Jade-d.

To me, Spring always makes me think of Easter. This year I did a Spring nail art challenge and one of the items on the list was chicks and eggs. I took it literally. Fuzzy chicks and real egg shells.

I decided to do this mani inspired by mother's day. I remember my mom had a big rose garden which she cared for a lot; that's why I did the flowers' centers in bright colors and also the green-white gradient. Also, this mother's day was my beloved aunt's 4th anniversary since she departed to Heaven, that's why I did black flowers. My mother and aunt are just 2 of the women in my family I love with all my heart and although it's not much, I dedicated this manicure to them.

Spring always means flowers to me, and the slightly-cool/slightly-warm weather makes the sky look a paler blue than it does in the summer.

Growing up in Florida, I really didn't have the benefit of watching seasons change. Now that I live in Wisconsin, I see the seasons change and Winter always seems to stick around the longest. I know Spring is near once the dandelions start to bloom. That's why I chose to do dandelions and their seeds.

I got some really bright colors as a surprise from my friend recently and I just had to do a super-vibrant, spring-y manicure! I actually like that it's so simple :-)

Hoping they look like watermelons, otherwise it's rather embarrassing xD I chose them because even though watermelons are always out last month of Spring (November), I always end up thinking December is Spring as well, even though it's December...
