Nail-venturous Pinkerbell and Pure Ice Pool Party

I count myself as one of the lucky ones who was able to get a bottle of the famous and hard to get Nail-Venturous polishes.  When I first saw Amy from I'm Feeling Nail-Venturous's  initial swatches of her frankens, I asked her if she had any Pinkerbell available.   Since this was before she "unveiled" them on her blog and opened her Etsy shop, I imagine that my request somewhat inconvenienced her.  Nevertheless, she was a complete and utter sweetheart and made me a bottle!  I can't even tell you how excited I was about this polish...and this was before the well-deserved hype.

I've previously reviewed Pinkerbell here alone without a colored base.  However, after I saw that Jodi from Captivating Claws layered hers over some bright cremes, I knew I had to get in on that action.  Using yesterday's swatch of Pure Ice Pool Party, I put two coats of Pinkerbell on top.  While it was pretty sunny the day I took this photos, you can still make out how the blue base really makes the matte yellow, pink, and green glitter pop.

I really think this color combo works beautifully well.  I hope to try Pinkerbell over yellow next, however, I don't own any yellow polishes.  The color just doesn't work well on me and I've never found a yellow formula that works.  I'm willing to give the shimmery Revlon one a try so you'll be the first to know if it works out!

Have you ladies purchased any Nail-Venturous polishes?  Any on your wish list?  (I still have Robin Laid an Egg on my wish list :)
