During my Great Pink Phase of Winter 2012, I struggled with whether or not I should buy the Wet n Wild pastel pink. I had only previously tried one other Wet Shine Color and found it to be a really cheap and chipping polish. But I really did love the brightness of the pastel in Tickled Pink and during a 69 cents Wet n Wild sale, I scooped it up.
At first, as with many white-based pastels, Tickled Pink applied really streaky. After one more coat, the polish was opaque and smooth, although there was a super slight bald spot that I blame more on my application technique than the polish. This polish has a tendency to be watery, so I recommend two or three very thin coats to get a really even and smooth finish.

For a color so simple, I received a number of compliments on this beauty. I think most women respond to a bright yet light pink, since it's visible without making a very loud statement. This is about as office-friendly as a stapler, ladies, so I highly recommend this for all you girly nine-to-fivers.
Will you be picking this beauty up for spring?

ReplyDeleteWow, I wish I saw this post earlier today! I was at Walgreen's picking up a white WnW, and they are having a 69 cent sale. I do not know if they had this one, but I am going back this weekend to look!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you won't have a hard time finding it. It's in the core display at Walgreens.
ReplyDeleteIt really is :)
ReplyDeleteI think they may have fixed their formula a bit because it's really much improved since the first time I tried it, just a tad too watery for my taste.
ReplyDeleteAw, thanks, Marisa!!
ReplyDeleteMe too!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteGrab it while it's on sale, it's sooo worth it. And if you plan on doing a lot of layering in the near future, scoop up the black one also.
ReplyDeleteHahahahaha as a stapler? Very pretty pink and love how inexpensive products can sometimes give the effect and color you want without having to spend tons of money.
ReplyDeleteYup, a stapler :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree. I'm always more pleased in finding cheaper polishes I love than a more expensive one that is just okay.
So pretty and light!
ReplyDeleteI just picked this up on Friday. I can't wait to paint my nails this color.
ReplyDeleteYou'll love it!
