The most exciting time in my polish life is when Sally Hansen releases its design collaboration collections every season. For the past few years, I've really loved how some of my favorite clothing designers have also inspired some of my favorite polishes.
That being said, I was so pleased to have the opportunity to try out two beauties from the Tracy Reese Summer Collection. The entire collection reflect the designer's "relaxed, romantic spring aesthetic." On the runway, her models donned the gorgeous Temptation to complement her flirty spring collection.
Temptation is a difficult color to really describe. In some lights it's a true bright, almost neon pink; in others, it appears to be a really striking coral. This polish has a truly happy quality to it that I think embodies spring. I adore this color.
This is three coats.
The Sky's the Limit is the brightest sky blue I have ever seen. While some brighter blues tend to lean teal, The Sky's the Limit really maintains its true blue color. I loved the pop this color had on my skin tone and I think it would probably flatter most skin tones as well. This is just a really fun, lush shade.
Three coats again.
Another designer collab that has won my heart. My only caveat is that The Sky's the Limit made me a smurfette when removed; however, my new little trick of letting whitening toothpaste sit in my cuticles for a few minutes promptly took me out of Smurf Village.
Are you ladies as smitten by Tracy Reese's colors as much as me?
