Revlon Dreamer

About two weeks ago, I posted a comparison swatch of China Glaze Electric Beat, Essie Lapis of Luxury, and Revlon Dreamer.  Today, I will give Revlon Dreamer its due and feature it by itself.

As I've said recently, I am really finding myself gravitating more and more to sky blues, particularly those with shimmer.  While Dreamer is a straight up creme, it does have the ethereal quality that has really drawn me in.  In the past year or so, I've found myself absolutely obsessed with all things cornflower blue (evidence: I own about 5 dupes for Zoya Caitlin); however, as much as I love the dusty quality of cornflower, I really like the bright blue pastels refreshing for spring, which is clearly personified by Dreamer.

Like standard Revlon formula, Dreamer was a tad bit runny and thin and required 3 thin coats for full opacity.  It's certainly creamy gorgeousness and is striking without being in your face.

I think that this color is fantastic for spring and hope that this shade of blue keeps replicating itself.  A girl can never have too many!  (I'm sure I'll be saying that about fifteen other different colors in the next few months.)

If you'd like the chance to own this beauty, make sure to check out my Spring Giveaway, ending April 9.

What's your go-to spring polish, girls?

  8. I love blue pedis! I used to think it was a bit too hypothermic, but now I think they're great :)

  9. I agree, they've really stepped up their game the past few years. I love it when drugstore brands do that :)

  10. It's a newer release, I believe once they started displaying those racks with the renamed polishes (Perplex became Naughty, etc.)

  12. It's one of those colors you can easily just walk past in a store, but once you try it, it certainly has an understated wow factor.
