Twinsie Tuesday: Catrice Jade is Not My Name

Twinsie Tuesday, ladies!

Today's challenge was...well, a challenge.  We are supposed to post a discontinued polish, which after going through my stash list about ten times, just doesn't seem to exist in my collection.  But then I remembered a little European beauty that the fabulous Ruth sent me from Spain.  In our emails, I had asked Ruth to be on the lookout for Catrice I Sea You.  Ruth said that I Sea You was discontinued but that Jade is Not My Name is in fact an exact dupe.  She even linked another blog that did a comparison post.  So for the purposes of this Twinsie Tuesday challenge, this is my discontinued polish...ish.

Jade is Not My Name, apart from being quite annoying to type out, is simply a fantastic polish.  The application, like my one other Catrice, is remarkable.  Buttery and smooth, I didn't require any clean up at all after I did this mani.  The brush literally fit my nail angles perfectly.

The color is also gorgeous: a grey based green that doesn't read over the top in real life.  I wore this to work without anyone making a comment about unprofessional green nails.  I don't own Zoya Bevin or OPI Thanks a Windmillion, but from swatches, I'm going to conclude that this is a slightly darker version of those beauties.

This is two ridiculously perfect coats.

I really, really enjoyed wearing this mani and felt super chic with it on.  Now I feel the itch for more greens like this...perhaps Bevin or Windmillion?

I'm so curious to see what my other Twinsies chose for their discontinued polish!  Check out their picks below.

  18. Love that color! :) I'm wearing Bevin right now..I'm a green fan! You'll like Bevin, it seems just a touch darker than Thanks a Windmillion from the swatches I've seen. I was torn which to get and ended up with Bevin.  Love your aqua!
