Essence Colour & Go Ultimate Pink

It was in the 70s in NYC the past few days so I'm taking it as a sign that I need to start posting brighter colors.

Essence Colour & Go Ultimate Pink was one of my first Essences that I received in a swap from Nory.  It initially made me think of something Snooki or JWoww would wear so I immediately stashed it and filed it away as a go-to pink in the summer.

However, when I went to the Dominican Republic last month, Nory reminded me of this beauty and I packed it away for my vacation.  This picture was taken in my hotel room and it's pretty color accurate.  A shiny creme, this Essence applied super well in two coats.

The color is what I'm absolutely in love with.  I know that hot pinks are not difficult to find, but there's something about the blue undertone in this that just really flatters my skin tone (although, this photo makes me look kinda sallow) and just pops off the nail without looking too in your face.

I highly recommend that anyone who likes a good bright pink in the summer try to get a hold of this little guy.  If you don't live near an Ulta (or in Europe), Essence is hard to come by; but if you can find access to it, for about a dollar, you'll have a really great polish that's perfectly travel sized :)

Thank you again to my polish bestie for always picking out the most flattering and prettiest shades!

What is your go-to summer polish?

  1. It looks great on you!! Very bright and lovely!!

  2. I usually don't like pink but this one is lovely

  3. This is definitely my kind of polish!! Looks awesome on you!!

  4. Ermm... I want it! lol Does it have a number apart from the name? x

  5. I just Googled it and it says 08. Hope that helps!

  6. Thank you honey! I will check it out, it's gorgeous!! Hopefully I can find it here in Athens, we do have Essence, but they don't carry everything, which sucks! x

  7. I hope you find it! I don't have an Ulta anywhere near me (which sells the Essence Colours and Gos in the States) so I completely understand...sigh...
