Another Major Haul and Nail Mail from Nory

I visited my grandmother this week, and in the process, went a little crazy with the polish.

Those are 11 polishes.  Perhaps I went a little overboard?

You be the judge.  Here are the goods up close:

I came across a completely new brand called anise.  From cursory research, it's a Miami-based brand that is 3 Free.  I picked up four from a random display at Annie Sez.

anise
Crocodile Tears
Agent Glam
Dangerous Lover
Run for the Money

A few random pieces from my wish list.

Orly Oui
OPI Panda-monium Pink
Pure Ice Love
Pure Ice Twinkle

From Harmon's, I stumbled on the new Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Collection.  This one caught my eye because it looks striking similar to one of the new Zoya purples I've seen in pictures (Lotus, Tru?...one of those).

Sally Hansen Violet Voltage
Wet n Wild Black Creme
Wet n Wild Red Red

The black WnW is purely for layering purposes.  Ashesela asked me to swatch Bettina Boogie next, so I needed to get this before I swatched that.  The WnW red is apparently a Cosmo Girl Kiss of Approval Beauty Award Winner (see sticker), which is kinda cool.  I picked that up so I could attempt my first franken (I picked up what I believe is spectraflare also since I've always wanted a red holo...wish me luck!)

While those beauties would have been more than enough to tide me over, I come home from my visit to receive more nail mail from my polish bestie, Nory!

Nicole by OPI Make a Change: because I always love a good purple!

a-england Tristam: there are no words to describe how much I have craved this polish.  I'm actually drooling as I type.

Barielle Decadence: my first Barielle!  I can't wait to try it out :)

Zoya Marley: Nory remembered it was on my wish list and picked it up for me.  I love me some lavender...and a Zoya...amazingggg.

Essie Armed and Ready: from the new Go Overboard Spring 2012 Collection.  This was one actually the color I most wanted from the whole collection.

Thank you, Nory (aka Drita, aka JWoww...don't ask)!  I love them all :)

With all these polishes, I'm gonna have to go all Krishna-esque...

  4. I actually swatched it over black this morning.  I think it looks amazing and I really hope the photos reflect that (although a lot of the shimmer unfortunately didn't translate).  Once I swatch it alone, I'll post both pics :)

  9. Awesome haul!!!  Love Orly Oui.  Well I haven't worn it yet, but I picked up just the other day.  Oh, and there's no judging here.  I bought just as many in Manhattan yesterday, lol!!

Yes, Marley is very dreamy! I love lavender polishes, and with spring just around the corner, I know I will be wearing it a lot!

  18. I'm not 100% sure it is spectraflair. It looks like it, but I've never frankened so I don't know. I got a little bottle of whatever it is at Walgreens.
