Ulta Envy

Thanks to my dear swap buddy Nory, I am no longer an Essence or Ulta virgin.

Ulta Envy, which Nory picked up for me because of my recent discovery and love of green polishes, is a staple for green lovers, the holiday season, and people who have taste.  This color is amazinggggg.

A deep emerald with a hidden shimmer, Envy is creamy perfection.  Envy applied a tad bit thick -- my preferred level of consistency -- so I really enjoyed swatching this; I was actually upset that I didn't need a third coat for opacity!  I'm super excited that Nory sent Ulta Devious to try out as well!  After only swatching this, I hate to say it, but Ulta is giving Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure's formula a run for its money...

I heart polishes like these: seemingly creams with hidden shimmer and real depth of color.  This shade is super flattering on my pale skin and reminds me of the forest in winter.  This is truly one of the most beautiful and demure colors I own.

I imagine there are a lot of dupes of this around, but I recommend you getting your hands on this Ulta if you can.  Gorgeousness.

Do you ladies agree?

  7. I LOVE Ulta's Polishes. All the ones I have tried apply like a dream. My favorite is Jaded.

  8. Maybe it was a defective bottle?  Sometimes if you call the company, they will send you a new one for free.  It can't hurt to try!  If nothing else, you avoid eliminating a brand from your hate pile.

  10. Where is the nearest Ulta to you in NJ?  Since you live near my grandmother, I'd love to see if I can check that out sometime.

  11. I just Google imaged that color.  Not at all what I imagine a jade to look like.  More of a metallic/frosty mint green?

  12. I'd call it more of a metallic sage. It's definitely not frosty. I'll have to swatch it on my blog soon. It's one of my top polishes of all times!
