Rimmel Rags to Riches

Rags to Riches is the second of the two Rimmels I own.  While I previously was not blown away by their formula, Violet Metal and this little bottle of gorgeousness have really made up for the past poor performance.

I found this mossy medium green at a tiny display at a CVS I never go to around Halloween.  I was on the Peridot fence about that time, so I figured I might try this to see how the water felt on the goldeny green side.

I was really surprised at how much I liked this on me.  A shimmery, semi-foil finish, this green is actually very flattering on my skin tone.  It applies really well in 3 coats (has the pro-wide brush I adore) and has lasting power that I haven't experienced from Rimmels in the past.

Rags to Riches has joined the Rimmel permanent collection from what I gather and is available at any drugstore that has a Rimmel section.  In some ways, this is an excellent dupe for Wet n Wild Jungle Fever, the green polish that was part of the On the Prowl Collection.  So for those of you who never had access to the Prowls, I'd recommend this to tide you over.

What say you, ladies?

  2. Ha, you're my resident Rimmel PR spokesperson.  You're to Rimmel what I am to Sally Hansen.  We seriously need to start getting kick backs from this companies ;)
