Chanukah Night #6: Diamond Cosmetics Serendipity

Welcome to Night 6 of  my Chanukah Manis: Silvery  Blues and Wintery Hues!

Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas everyone!

Important Note: Please remember that my 230(ish) Follower Giveaway ends tonight at 11:59pm.  Enter here if you haven't done so yet!  I will be announcing the winner within the next two days.

My apologies for such a late post tonight, but I've been out and about all day and literally just got the computer now (why I didn't schedule this beforehand is beyond me).  I have to type quickly because I'm off to see The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in a bit.

Diamond Cosmetics is one of my favorite nail polish brands.  While cheap (all DC polishes are between $2.50-$3.50), the formula is near perfection: smooth and thick, easily to apply, and coming in an array of colors.  A smaller company based in Florida, their customer service is really top notch and I've never had an issue ordering from or speaking with them.

But to Serendipity.  I searched high and low for the perfect combination of blue and grey and finally found it in Serendipity.  While a creme, there is a subtle shimmer that makes this polish more unique, than say, it's creamier dupe, Zoya Kristen.

This is two coats applied a bit thickly.

Can you see that shimmer?  Subtle but really lovely.  My boyfriend's mother was really taken with this polish and liked the fact that it wasn't blue but it wasn't grey.  I think it's a really nice alternative to the standard grey polishes that everyone wears in the fall and winter.

Anyways, to all my readers, I wish a happy and a healthy holiday weekend and that the new year brings only happiness and good things!  And lots of polish, of course.

Happy sixth night of Chanukah!

  1. Gorgeous blue! I haven't seen those around here even though they are a FL brand, I have to keep my eyes open for them. Let me know how The Girl with the Dragon tattoo is.

  2. This is such a beautiful color!!  Merry Christmas ;0)

  3. This is such a perfect blue-grey. I definitely want this one when I someday make my long-planned DC order.
