Share the Love, Day 2: Chelsea from Nailed Blog

Day 2 of the Share the Love blogging!  I'm really excited to introduce you guys to Chelsea from Nailed Blog.  Even though I'm not a glitter girl, Chelsea makes me want to convert to the sparkly side!  Take a look:

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  I'm very excited to share some swatches with all you Amandalanders today. Thank you Amanda for the opportunity and for organizing this experiment!  Now, I am gaga for glitter-like, Ke$ha-esque levels of obsession.  (Have you noticed a disproportionate amount of her songs mention glitter?)  Anyways, naturally as a glitter lover, I just had to have all of the new Nicole by OPI limited-edition holiday glitters at Target.  They were just too gorgeous to pass up!  Since my theme for my guest posts is blue, I thought I'd show you the blue glitter from this set: Snowman Of My Dreams.  This one is a little bit different than the other glitters in the collection.  The glitter is noticeably larger in Snowman Of My Dreams than the finely-milled microglitter of the other three polishes.  But hey, that's not a bad thing -- I always say I never met a glitterbomb I didn't like!  While the dominant color here is light blue, there are all sorts of shades in here: pink, purple, silver, red, gold, etc.

The effect of all the different colors in Snowman of My Dreams is almost like little candy-colored sprinkles dusted onto your nails!  This is my favorite of the NOPI holiday glitters I've tried so far.  (I just have one more, Ornament for Each Other, to go and then I'll have worn the whole set!)  They are all lovely, but this one especially so.  This is pretty much a dupe for OPI Simmer and Shimmer from last year's Burlesque Collection, so if you missed out on that one, give Snowman Of My Dreams a go.  I don't have Simmer and Shimmer in my stash to show you firsthand, but from comparison photos I've seen, they are virtually identical.

Gorgeous, right?  Thanks so much to Chelsea for showing off this gem from the NOPI Collection.  Of the set, I had my eye on My Sleigh's in the Shop but I really like the mix of glitters in this blue base.  I can't wait to see the other blues Chelsea plans to show in her next three guest posts!

  1. I really like this glitter, it does look like simmer & shimmer!

  2. So blingy! Love it. And it does look EXACTLY like simmer & Shimmer. That is what I thought it was at first
